And the movie has now crossed 100, 000 views on Viddler which means they’re putting 30-second movie ads on it before you can view it. Oh well. I’m not paying for premium since I don’t care enough how many people watch it. Youtube will have annoying ads too…

Just finished cleaning it up. Hopefully moving forward we can avoid having 15 different feral guides in ten separate locations each dependent on one single person who may go MIA at any moment. Pool information to find solutions to common problems/issues and teach the new kids.
Once you said that you are done. I would like to read it before editing your paper.
I think you got the basic building block at a good location down.
You will have to add patch note for some of the biggest changes.
Damn, nice video man!
I’m playing cat now for about 2 years and still learning…
But I have one questen, what the fuck do you do on the vid on 2:20?! How can you jump away from mimi and back?!
pls help a noobish little cat, i’m getting crazy!
Hard mode does a knockback thing. FC back. Looks cool…
I’m a kitty. And I have to disagree with Blizzard’s default interface being to innefficient- while it is certainly not optimised greatly for ferals, I have used it for a long time now and prefer it to having all the stupid addons clogging up memory – constantly screaming to be updated at every hotfix/patch and the silly UI bugs they present. My favourite of course being prevented from setting focus.
I have never had trouble pulling the best possible DPS from my gear – even more than simulations often estimate but with that being said – I have only recently started using Bad Kitty and can concur that this is a very useful addon. While not essential, it does allow you to focus more on the fight knowing that you do not have to keep looking at the buff/debuff timers. I only use Cat Warnings, the rest is useless.
I also use Grid raid frames because regular raid frames are a disaster. The most important thing for kitty’s to understand, and why I tend to beat kitty’s on DPS, is when and when not to use Ferocious Bite, and when and when not to pool energy in preperation for refreshing Rip and SR – and how many combo points to use for your SR to avoid it meeting with Rip.
This video will certainly help people with potential – who are new to Feral DPS; however I think the true noobs, those who really need assistance to become more than our mangle bots will not get much from this. Other than how not to spec to be our mangle bot.
Perhaps you could produce videos in more episodic, shortened form? Or a write up indicating the most basic of things. While it is evident to someone like me, enjoying the difficulty of cat dps in comparison to other specs – the complexity of the video may in fact shy others away from trying, when it is actually easier than it looks.
Hmmm…
Ok. The default UI is certainly not necessary to play feral dps in raids.
But you “have never had trouble pulling the best possible DPS from my gear – even more than simulations often”
…while
“using Bad Kitty”
and
“Grid raid frames because regular raid frames are a disaster”
…I believe you’ve made my point for me. The prosecution rests, Your Honour. I have no further questions of the witness.
Best comment yet on one of my videos:
“lol that ”who the fuck is this auto bot”, scared the shit out of my dog “
You hear anything about the beta? Any idea about how the basic idea of ferals is shaping up? Any idea how Blizz boosting mob damage is going to effect feral leveling?
it’s all gonna be fine – the devs finally got the hang of this whole balancing thing now – with the pre-Cataclysm patch things might be a bit off for a while but they’ll respond and within a patch or two after Cata ships the balance will be fairly decent.
